Roadtrip

The CSU Alumni Association has been on the road, engaging with graduates near and far. All trips featured CSU “Then and Now” presentations, receptions that drew large and enthusiastic audiences, and a very special guest – President Harlan Sands – in his first official visits with out-of-state alumni.

The president shared his vision for CSU, participated in spirited question-and-answer sessions, and spent time chatting one-on-one with alums who were eager to share their Viking pride and memories.

Thank you to everyone who attended CSU on the Road events in Detroit, Dallas, Houston, Charlotte, Florida, Arizona, Washington, D.C. and Chicago.

Trip highlights included CSU2U Alumni College in Naples, a visit to the George W. Bush Museum in Dallas, Indians spring training in Phoenix, and a private tour of the Library of Congress in the nation’s capital.

We hope these gatherings bring back happy memories and spark your further engagement with your alma mater.

Alumni road trips to new destinations are being planned for fall 2019 and winter/spring 2020. Watch your mailbox and csualumni.com for details.

Waves of Inspiration

“I was born with one skill, writing,” says Mark Lantz, BA ’87 and MACTM ’90.
